We offer Bachelor and Master Degrees in Social Work rooted in Torah-based principles where students are trained to work through consequences of multigenerational Holocaust and persecution trauma and help facilitate the healing process.

The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (Tikkum Olam) program is deeply rooted in the values and teachings of the Torah, emphasizing the principles of chesed, tzedakah, yakhdud, and social justice. This program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to address societal challenges and support those in need, guided by the ethical and moral framework of Jewish teachings. Coursework integrates traditional social work methods with a Torah-based perspective, fostering a unique approach to advocacy, counseling, and community engagement. Students are encouraged to develop a compassionate understanding of diverse populations, inspired by the timeless wisdom of the Torah, preparing them for a fulfilling career dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities.

 M.A. in Social Work

Students in this program engage with a wide range of subjects, including advanced clinical practice, community organization, social welfare policy, and research methods, all integrated with insights from Jewish law and philosophy. This fusion ensures that graduates are not only equipped with practical skills and theoretical knowledge, but are also profoundly aware of the ethical dimensions of social work.
