Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community Members,

Welcome to Florida Hebrew University!

It is my honor to lead this esteemed institution dedicated to providing a rigorous and comprehensive education rooted in Torah values. Our mission is to cultivate a learning environment that fosters intellectual growth, spiritual development, and a strong sense of community.

Over the past few years, we have achieved significant milestones. We built the foundation and the structure, established a dedicated Board of Trustees, and developed a curriculum that integrates traditional Torah study with contemporary academic disciplines. We launched several academic programs and are now working diligently to implement our vision into reality.

Our students work hard — there are no shortcuts at Florida Hebrew University. They are challenged to grow intellectually and spiritually, developing the discipline, resilience, and integrity that define true success. By the time they graduate, they are not only well-prepared for meaningful careers —they are equipped to excel in the workforce, lead with purpose, or confidently run their own businesses. Employers will find them to be capable, principled, and a pleasure to work with — individuals who bring both skill and character to everything they do.

Looking ahead, we are focused on obtaining accreditation, further enhancing our academic offerings, and increasing our outreach to ensure that more families can benefit from our unique educational approach. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where students can achieve their highest potential while staying true to their values.

At Florida Hebrew University, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen our community. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence, integrity, and adherence to Torah mitzvot. Together, we will continue to build a vibrant and supportive community where every member can thrive spiritually, financially, and intellectually.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.

With your support, we will continue to achieve great things.

Warm regards,
N. Esther Basha
President, Florida Hebrew University
