Our Financial Support Options

We are committed to the principle of "chesed" (loving-kindness) and strive to embody this through various financial support initiatives:
-
Work-Study Program
-
"Great is work, for it honors its worker" (Nedarim 49b). Our Work-Study Program provides opportunities for students to earn while they learn, gaining valuable work experience on campus or with affiliated organizations. This not only helps to offset tuition costs but also instills a strong work ethic and practical skills.
-
-
Flexible Payment Plans
-
Just as "the Torah was given to bring peace" (Shemot Rabbah 30:9), our flexible payment plans are designed to bring peace of mind to our students and their families by spreading tuition payments over the academic year. This alleviates the burden of lump-sum payments and helps families budget more effectively.
-
-
Merit-Based Scholarships
-
"With wisdom, a house is built" (Mishlei 24:3). We are actively involved in fundraising initiatives to develope merit-based scholarship fund to recognize and reward students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement. These scholarships aim to make education more accessible to deserving students.
-
-
Community and Alumni Support
-
"It is not good for man to be alone" (Beresheet 2:18). We are building a supportive network of community and alumni to provide additional funding opportunities for our students. This network aims to establish scholarships, grants, and other financial support mechanisms, reflecting our collective responsibility to support each other.
-
-
External Scholarships and Grants
-
"The more charity, the more peace" (Pirkei Avot 2:7). We encourage students to seek external scholarships and grants. Our admissions office provides guidance and resources to help students identify and apply for these opportunities, leveraging all available resources to fund their education.
-
-
Volunteer and Internship Opportunities
-
"The world stands on three things: Torah, service, and acts of kindness" (Pirkei Avot 1:2). Through volunteer and internship opportunities, students can gain practical experience and financial support. These opportunities also foster a sense of community service and professional development.
-
-
Fundraising and Donations
-
"The greatest level of charity is to support someone in need" (Rambam, Mishneh Torah). We are actively working on fundraising initiatives to build a robust financial aid fund for future students. Donations from generous benefactors who believe in our mission are critical to our efforts.

Ph.D. Program Scholarships and Assistantships

To support our Ph.D. candidates, Florida Hebrew University offers scholarships and assistantships that cover tuition and provide a stipend for living expenses. These opportunities are available to help students focus on their research and academic pursuits without financial strain.
